About Me

I grew up in the Lutheran Church. I always liked church as a child and as I grew I went through Catechism and Confirmation and joined the church choir as soon as I was allowed. My family weren’t regular church attenders but I would go with my aunt and then drive myself as soon as I was able.

When I was a senior in high school I was at the home of a friend and I had a chance meeting with two missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I listened to one of the discussions which was about our purpose on earth and I felt strongly that the lessons they were teaching were the truth.

Over the next few weeks I continued to learn about the church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was baptized in February of 1983 just a couple of weeks before my 18th birthday and became a member of the church.

I love the Gospel and the benefits and strength it brings to my life. This blog is a place for me to talk in detail about the things I am learning through study and prayer. It is also a place for me to outline or post sacrament meeting talks that I give.

Please feel free to email me with questions about the church or about the things I post here.
